Vertical Drum Grab
A fully automatic grab for the fast handling of drums in the vertical (upright) position. Regularly furnished for handling standard 55 gallon drums with a uniform shell or body diameter of 22 ½" inches. If dimensions are otherwise they must be specified by the purchaser. the various models, as listed below, are suitable for handling from three to six drums at each lift.
The construction of the grab is such that it will not interfere with the adjacent drums or material. Special spacing of the drums is not required, they need only be reasonably in line to facilitate placing the grab on the drums for the lift.
This grab is equipped with a fully automatic latching device which permits the hoist operator to accomplish all loading and unloading of the grab by merely raising and lowering the hoist line.
