These grabs are devices devised of two tongs that operate as one device. They are ideal for handling metal billets. The contacts either indent the ingot/billet or they lift by friction. A variety of contacts points or surfaces are available for purchase. These tongs are supplied with a automatic latch which operate by simply lowering the grab on and off of the load.
Other pad arrangements are available.
