Load spreaders or lifting beams are used when loads need to be lifted on a single hoist but must be supported at two or more points.
Series 104 4 point spreader beams are used when the load needs to be supported in multiple points in a 'H' pattern.
The points are typically welded solid for a rigid beam. The points can be mounted to rotate for load equalizing.
